Services :: Comprehensive Mental Health Services
The Guidance Center provides comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents and families who are struggling with a variety of issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, behavioral problems and ADHD. These services are individualized to each client and family, provided within a strengths-based framework, and coordinated with other social service agencies. Staff works with children and families to educate them about trauma and its effects, to help build stronger parent-child relationships and to address safety issues as well as future prevention. The Center also offers psychological testing and assessment, individual and family therapy, play therapy, parenting education, targeted case management, and medication support services.
