Virtual Support Groups
Welcome!
We are excited to offer several virtual support groups specifically designed for healthcare workers and first responders. While it may have affected each of us differently, we know that everyone has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our healthcare/first responder specific groups are one way we hope to bring community, belonging and healing to those who have been in it since the beginning and who are most regularly experiencing the devastating impact of COVID-19.
Please scroll down to learn more about our current groups, watch our video, meet the facilitators and read a little bit about us! If you’re ready to register for one or more groups, click the button below.
We are psychologists who work in the healthcare system. We know support needs to be relevant, relatable, actionable, and private. Therefore, our virtual support groups are carefully designed based on our training and knowledge of:
- Common experiences unique to healthcare workers and first responders
- Healthcare/first responder culture
- The need to find a community of support that “gets it” but also isn’t necessarily a part of your immediate work team
- The multiple (often competing) demands on your time.
- The constellation of stakeholders and responsibilities (e.g. EMR, insurance) that you have to hold in tension with your practice/work
