SUNSET SIP SUCCESS – RAISES OVER $100,000!
With the support and contributions from generous friends like you, The Guidance Center raised over $100,000 at our fourth annual Sunset Sip: Hope for Children’s Mental Health on Friday, September 12! Whether you attended, made a donation, or purchased a silent auction item (or two!), your participation made a tremendous difference.
We also would like to thank our charismatic host Jim Fox, TV Color Analyst and Los Angeles Kings Alumnus, Kings Care Foundation, and the Los Angeles Kings Alumni Association presented by Toyota. Their continuous advocacy of The Guidance Center and the mental health community is inspiring, and we thank them for their commitment to the Sunset Sip each year.
Proceeds raised from the Sunset Sip will directly benefit the mental health services and programs we provide every day, strengthening the families in our community.

3RD ANNUAL CLIENT ART EXHIBIT
On Wednesday, May 7, 2014, we hosted our 3rd Annual Client Art Exhibit. As part of Mental Health Awareness Month and during National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, the exhibit showcased the artistic talents of our clients and highlighted the importance of art as a therapeutic tool.
We also revealed our NEW logo! We couldn’t be more excited about this new look for the agency – one that is child-friendly and conveys a positive image of hope and inspiration.
We thank all of those who attended and who were involved with this event, and we look forward to next year’s!
