Accessibility at The Guidance Center

The Guidance Center is committed to making our website easier for everyone to use, including people with disabilities. We are working to identify and reduce barriers so visitors can find information about our programs, services, and resources.

Our approach

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) explain how to make digital content more accessible. We use these guidelines to inform improvements to our website.

Our accessibility work includes reviewing website navigation, link descriptions, images, and documents. Accessibility is an ongoing effort as we add and update content.

Current accessibility status

We are reviewing the accessibility of our website. This statement does not represent a completed assessment of the entire site.

Recent improvements include keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators, text contrast, descriptive links on core pages, image descriptions, and controls for the homepage carousel. Some older PDFs, image-based resources, and third-party forms still require further review and improvements.

If you have difficulty using a page or document, please contact us so we can work with you to find a way to access the information.

Request assistance or report a barrier

Please contact Nicole Swayne, Events & Marketing Specialist:

Please include the page address or document title, describe the difficulty you experienced, and let us know how you would prefer us to contact you. If useful, you may also tell us which browser or assistive technology you were using.

Please do not include private health information in an accessibility feedback email.

Statement updates

We will update this page as our accessibility review and improvement work progresses.
