In honor of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week and Mental Health Awareness Month, we held our 5th Annual Client Art Exhibit at our Long Beach Clinic last Monday, May 2. Children and their families, along with staff and board members, attended the exhibit to view all of the creative art on display. During this year’s exhibit, there was also an interactive wing display that children painted in beautifully!
We look forward to hosting this event every year to show the importance of art therapy, and to raise awareness during Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week.We thank our young artists for participating and for sharing their talents with us. We would also like to thank our board members who donated gift baskets to the exhibit which were given away to six lucky families.
