The holidays can be especially difficult for our families. They often face complicated issues. Some struggle with financial hardships, which brings anxiety due to not being able to provide basic necessities let alone gifts for their children. Others are headed by a single parent or caregiver who is having difficulty managing their own mental health challenges or learning to cope with a loss within their family. Each working hard to make ends meet year-round. Our Adopt-A-Family program gives members of our community the chance to give back and spread holiday cheer by “adopting” a family for the holidays.
