This season of thankfulness has been an amazing time. As an agency, a team of dedicated professionals and friend to the community, we hope we have shown how much we appreciate all of you. Our supporters, donors, staff and clients make the work we do possible and we are so grateful. Because of you, we are able to:
- Provide mental health care to more than 3,000 children and families who struggle with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and much more.
- Provide play therapy tools that encourage and allow young children to voice their difficult emotions.
- Provide trauma-informed care in the classroom to help students in the Long Beach Unified School District cope with life’s challenges and thrive academically.
- Provide gifts during the holidays like blankets and toys to families in need through our Adopt-A-Family program.
We recognize how lucky we are to have committed partners like you. As this season of thankfulness comes to an end, our appreciation sure does not. We hope to continue this relationship for many years to come! There are always going to be children and families who need help navigating through life’s challenges. Thanks to you, we will be there to wipe the tears and capture the smiles.
A special thank you to Food Finders for providing Thanksgiving meals to 50 of our families! We received 50 turkeys and 50 food boxes that included traditional Thanksgiving items! Families from all three clinics – Compton, Long Beach and San Pedro benefited from this generous donation.
